Lagos - Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State has reiterated that the leadership status of the state remains the flagship in Africa for investment, with regards to financial and social investment, Vanguard reports.

Ambode added that his administration were working hard to attract new foreign investment and to also create and conducive environment for business to thrive.
According to Punch, Ambode was speaking at the opening of the CFAO Yamaha Showroom and Assembly Plant, where he commissioned the opening of the 70,000 capacity motorbike assembly plant in the State.
The Governor said that with a thriving middle-class sector, he has no doubts that Nigeria had all the requirements and characteristics needed to attract investors as well as in which businesses could thrive.
