Abuja – Nigerian troops have reportedly arrested four notorious leaders of Boko Haram in Borno State after various formations of the army executed counterinsurgency operations.
According to Leadership, the operation resulted in at least 18 members of the Islamic insurgency group being gunned down.
Large amounts of money allegedly used by the group to recruit new members were recovered during the operation.
In addition, over 200 civilians, mostly aged people, women and children were also recovered.
