Jalingo - Four people have been confirmed dead from the outbreak of Lassa fever disease in Taraba State, reports Daily Trust.
This brings to seven the number of deaths so far recorded since the outbreak of the disease in the state.
Head of clinical services, Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo, Dr. Iliya Attah confirmed the deaths on Wednesday.

He noted that the victims' test results confirmed that they died of Lassa fever.
He said 19 suspected Lassa fever patients were admitted in the hospital out of which 6 patients were treated and discharge while 3 are still on admission.
