27 January 2016, 06:42

Abuja - A Lassa victim's corpse has been abandoned two weeks after his death at the National Hospital in Abuja, Punch reports.

The body of the deceased, a 33-year-old man from Jos, is said to have been left at the hospital supposedly due to his manner of death.

A health worker at the facility, who spoke on condition of anonymity, revealed that the family allegedly fear that they might attract the illness during the burial process of the deceased.
