Abuja - Aggrieved legislative aides on Wednesday shut down National Assembly.
According to Daily Post, the legislative aides to Senators and members of the House of Representatives, numbering no less than 3,000, are currently protesting over the non-payment of salaries and allowances at the National Assembly.
The aides are accusing the lawmakers of owing them several months of entitlements, an action that has made it difficult for them to meet their basic needs.
The aides carried green white green Nigerian flag and placards.
