Abuja - According to acting Inspector General of Police,
Ibrahim Idris, there will be investigations into lopsidedness in recent police
promotions, Naij reported.
Idris, has stated that police will be reviewing this soon as
people internally are eyeing higher posts.

He was addressing journalists in Minna on the issue after
paying a courtesy visit to Governor Abubakr Bello in Niger State.
Some aggrieved police have stated that those behind the
corruption were only residing in the northern side of the country.
