Mad woman made me sacrifice a human head - suspect reveals

26 October 2016, 17:26

Abuja - A 20-year-old man from Aba Park has confessed to beheading an unknown woman upon instructions handed to him by mad woman from the area.

According to Punch, the suspect, identified as Emmanuel Effiong, had supplied the woman with money to offer him advice, upon which he was told to carry out the ritual or else he would go mad.

"One morning, when I saw a lifeless body in front of the park, I decided to cut off the dead woman’s head for the exercise. I threw the head into the Aba River to remain a normal person," he said.

Making his confession while in police custody in Abia, it was gathered that Effiong had initially been arrested in connection with a threat to kidnap and kill Ikechukwu Udogu if he failed to pay a N15 million ransom, Authority reports.

Effiong, who originally hailed from Akwa Ibom State, admitted to reporters that he had demanded the ransom due to Udogu allegedly failing to pay him a salary since September 2009.

"I served Mr. Udogu for many years as his gateman, but he stopped paying my salary since September 2009. So, I decided to send him the threat message to get my money from him," he stated.
