Abuja - Former Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, has
denied accusations that he is sponsoring crisis in Nassarawa State, Punch
Maku has also stated that there is a plan to frame him up as
the sponsor of the Omabatse violence in the state.
He is no cultist said the National Secretary of All
Progressives Grand Alliance.
Police are said to have questioned Maku's involvement in the
matter to state his innocence.

The violence is stated by Maku to be politically motivated
and just a way to tarnish his name.
He further added "I can never be part of any group to
sponsor violence in my native state which is still largely buffeted by crisis
Governor Tanko Al-Makura has been stated to be the one that
is spreading rumours of Maku being involved in sponsoring the crisis.
Several have been killed in the farmland crisis in the state.
