Police told the court that the accused had beat his girlfriend mercilessly because she was dating someone else in her neighborhood. Oluwaseya pleaded not guilty to the charge with his attorney pleading to the court to grant him bail on liberal terms.

After the court was given assurances that the accused would not skip bail, it granted the accused bail which was set at N50,000.

The case was adjourned to the later date of April 28.
