Man caught ready to sell son's head in Bauchi

Abuja - A father in Bauchi State has been arrested after he was found carrying his late son's head ready to sell it with his accomplice, Pulse reported.

The Bauchi State Police Command arrested Maikudi Mohammed together with his accomplice Damina Mohammed. 

Maikud told police that he went to the cemetery where he his late son was buried and exhumed his corpse. He cut off the head in the presence of Damina.

The customer that was going to be sold the head is not at large and wanted by police.

The case is under investigation as the suspects still need to appear in court.

This comes after three men were arrested in Niger for carrying a human head and were ready to sell it. They were comprehended while negotiating the price of the head.
