Abuja - The Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission (EFCC) has arraigned one Usman Ambaka for alleged fraud to the tune
of N90 million in a sham land deal.
He has been arraigned before Justice Olasumbo Olajumoke Goodluck
of the Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Maitama, Abuja on a
six-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence, criminal
breach of trust and forgery.
It is alleged sometime in 2011 in Abuja, the suspect
obtained the money from Enoch Anzaku, the Director of Enzo Integrated Concept
Limited for the sale of a plot.

The court heard it emerged the property was not his.
Ambaka pleaded not guilty when the charge was read to him.
Justice Goodluck admitted the accused to bail in the sum of
N10million with two sureties in like sum. The case has been adjourned to
February 21 for trial.
