Abuja – Four suspected drug traffickers have been arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport while trying to smuggle the narcotics out of the country, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency says.
According to Vanguard, the four included a Birmingham-based cleaner, who was found with 6.822kg of narcotics worth N61 million on him.
He (Birmingham-based cleaner) was alleged to have vomited 30 warps of cocaine weighing 479g.
All in all, the seized drugs consisted 4.193kg of heroin and 2.629kg of cocaine destined for Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia; Birmingham, United Kingdom; Rome, Italy and Mumbai, India, the report said.
