Ogun state – The man who named his dog Buhari, Joachim Chinakwe, was reportedly remanded in prison on Monday after he appeared at the Ota Magistrate Court 2 in Ogun State.
According to Punch, Chinakwe was charged for conduct likely to cause breach of peace, in a case with suit number MOT/617c/2016.
The 40-year-old trader was arrested on August 13 at Ketere area of Sango Ota. He said at the time that he named his dog after President Muhammadu Buhari because he (Buhari) was his hero.
