Abuja - Members of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) have rebuked President Muhammadu Buhari's statement on links between Boko Haram and the Islamic State (IS) not being credible.
According to a Naij report, MASSOB leader Uchenna Madu slammed Buhari's claims on Monday, saying that his 'defence' proves that he has sympathy for the deadly Islamic sect.

The development follows shortly after President Buhari's sentiments were reported on Saturday, quoting the Nigerian leader as saying that no credible intelligence exists that proves that Boko Haram's weaponry is linked to the IS.
“Buhari is busy granting Amnesty and soft landing to Hausa/Fulani Boko Haram while our brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Benjamin Onwuka and others are languishing in different prisons in Nigeria,” Madu said.
