Abuja - The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has called on people of the south south and south east regions to embrace Biafrans and join in the agitation for Biafra.
According to a Naij report, MASSOB has also warned governors to stop the killing of Biafrans and instead join hands with them.
Chief Solomon Chukwu, MASSOB leader, made the call to citizens of the two regions to consider themselves as Biafrans, claiming that wealth will be enjoyed freely once the independent state is achieved.

In addition, Chukwu commended Obong Bassey Bassey during a visit to the late General Philip Effiong's residence, saying that he has helped in the mobilization of the Biafran people.
Despite Chukwu's call for a non-violent approach to Biafra agitation, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have resolved to begin bearing arms as of February 17 in order to defend themselves during confrontations with security operatives.
