Abuja - A Federal Capital Territory High Court in Maitama, Abuja has granted bail to the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh over the destruction of his written statements, reports Punch.
Metuh was arraigned before the court on Thursday for charges bordering on destruction of evidence.
Metuh had on Tuesday last week tore a statement he voluntarily made to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) regarding his alleged involvement in the $2.1billion arms fraud being investigated by the anti-graft agency.

Justice Ishaq Bello while granting the bail to Metuh on Friday ordered him to produce two sureties in the sum of N300m each.
The judge ordered that the sureties must depose to an affidavit of evidence of residence before the court registrar.
Metuh had already been granted bail by a Federal High Court in Abuja in respect to charges of money laundering involving N400m, part of money meant for procurement of arms, which he collected from the Office of the National Security Adviser in November 2014.
