Abuja - New formed militant group, the Asawana Deadly Force of Niger Delta (ADFND) have allegedly set a date for the bombing of Bonga Field, the Onitsha-Asaba Bridge and the Third Mainland Bridge, among others.
According to a Vanguard report, the group has slated July 2 as the date for the bombing, with Commander Olomubini Kakarakokoro stating that the date is more than a mere threat.
Detailed in the group's statement, Kakarakokoro explains how the bombings will occur in retaliation to demands having been ignored by the Federal Government and President Muhammadu Buhari.

“This is not a mere threat. The only way out is for the Federal Government to relocate all headquarters of major oil companies to Niger Delta. They are built with our oil money. They must be moved back to the Niger Delta region,” said the statement in part.
In addition, the group has also demanded that all refineries be moved to the Niger Delta and have threatened that grave consequences await should their requirements not be met.
