Abuja - War is brewing in the Niger Delta region after militants warned residents to vacate oil facilities in the area in order to ensure their own safety.
According to Naij, the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate (NDGJM) has revealed that it has planted explosives in several marked oil facilities, with detonation being delayed due to civilians still being present in the area.
"One more time, we are warning and at the same time appealing to residents around major oil and gas facilities across our region to please evacuate immediately.

"This warning has become necessary because of the fact that we do not wish any of our people, for whom we have taken up this crusade, to become casualties of our campaign," a statement released by the group's spokesman, Aldo Agbalaja, read in part.
In addition, the militant group warned the Federal Government of lies being spread by Chief Edwin Clark, with the group stating that a ceasefire declared by the elder statesman is yet "another charade", Sun News Online reports.
