Abuja - Governor Olusegun Mimiko was allegedly prevented
from entering the Ondo state government house by striking workers, Punch
This comes after the workers commenced the industrial strike
action in protest of non-payment of their five months salaries.
Mimiko as forced by the workers to come down from his car
and address the striking workers. He pleaded with them to suspend the strike
stating that there is not enough money in government to make a payout.

Workers were not happy about the address and some even
chanted "no salary, no work".
Chairman of the Joint Negotiating Council, Sunday Adeleye,
responded stating that if their demands are not met then the strike will
