Mom of 3 drops suicide note, disappears

Lagos - Olubunmi Uko, a mother of three children, has disappeared after dropping a suicide note to her family, Vanguard reports.

Olubunmi was reported to have left with one of the children, a son, since on Friday and her whereabouts are still unknown.

The resident of Fola Agoro in Somolu area of Lagos state had complained of being indebted after her business failed.

"She addressed the suicide note to her children, her mother and to any other person concerned. She said nobody should bother to look for her, that she was going to jump into the river and end it all," A relative was quoted as saying.

"She said she was tired of life. She also said that by the time the letter would be seen, she would have ended inside the belly of a shark.

News24 previously that a 19-year-old girl committed suicide in the Igando LGA of Lagos State after being rejected by her lover.

Uche Obiora allegedly drank poison following an altercation with her boyfriend.
