MOSOP urges police to find killers of ex-Councillor, three others

Abuja - The Movement for the Survival of Ogoni People (MOSOP), has  urged the Police to investigate the killing of a former Councilor in Gokana Local Government, Boris Neenwi and three others in Nonwa, Tai Local Government Area of Rivers.

A statement issued by Mr Fegalo Nsuke, the Publicity Secretary of MOSOP in Abuja on Friday, said the perpetrators must be brought to justice.

Nsuke said that the killing took place on Monday.

“We also wish to express our deepest condolences to the bereaved families.

“MOSOP calls on politicians to exercise restraint in the present circumstance and desist from blame game and casting aspersions on each other while the killings are being investigated.

“We urge politicians not to engage in acts that could incite their supporters against each other and jeopardise public peace”, Nsuke said.
