Abuja - Trade workers from Nasarawa State have appealed to
the state government not to cut their salaries, Punch reported.
A trader, Sarah Oboh, has stated that the government's
action would weaken the buying power of people.

Labour unions in the state went on an indefinite strike due
to government cutting salaries by 50 percent.
Organised unions have given government an ultimatum and if
their demands are not they will enter into a total strike.
