Abuja - After visiting Acting President, Yemi Osinbanjo, Senate Leader, Ali Ndume, has expressed that Senate President, Bukola Saraki will not resign until he is proven guilty by the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Business Day reported.
Ndume, who after the visit, consulted with journalists stated that Saraki cannot be convicted before the trial as he occupies the number three office in the country.

Also he mentioned that the constitution considers someone innocent until they are proven guilty.
This comes after the Supreme Court rejected Saraki's appeal against the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
Ndume stated that the reasons for visiting Osinbanjo were to set a new example as it is their first time consolidating with him as acting president of tn.e natio.
