Niger Delta Avengers threaten to expose soldiers

Abuja - Militant group, the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), has threatened to expose members of the Nigerian Army for their alleged involvement in illegal oil deals being conducted in the Niger Delta.

According to a Naij report, the statement was released by the NDA on Wednesday, with the militants alleging that suspects arrested in the killing of soldiers were actually followers of Timipre Silva.

While stating that they are in possession of pictures and videos that show illegal oil deals being conducted by soldiers, the militants also stated that they have records of the wealth accumulated by the security operatives involved, Vanguard reports.

"We the NDA and Niger Delta People knows that you are not to here to protect anything in the region rather you have come to perpetuate more crude oil thefts that is worst.As such, we have  avoided everything that will justify your continuous stay and sour your illicit funds," the statement read in part.
