Abuja - The Department of State Services (DSS) has released the detained President of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, after about one month of detention.
The youth leader, who briefed newsmen o Tuesday, disclosed that he has instructed his legal team to institute proceedings against the DSS for illegally detaining him for about one month.
Ugochinyere is seeking N220 billion from the DSS after being detained for a month in Abuja.

According to News24, Ugochinyere said he was never given a reason as to why he is being detained.
After consulting with his lawyers, he is seeking a court order to enforce his rights.
The youth president was arrested by the DSS for his alleged involvement in anti-government activity and running a battle with Minster of Sports, Solomon Dalong.
