Abuja - The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has refuted media reports on the pending retirement of senior officers in connection with the ongoing investigation of arms purchase under the immediate past administration.
The Air Force denied the reports in a press statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday morning.
The publication alleged the NAF was at the verge of retiring a number of senior officers connected with the ongoing investigation of arms purchase under the immediate past administration.

NAF added the story was unfounded and did not emanate from it.
“The Press is therefore advised to always confirm their story with the NAF before publication,” the NAF stated.
Analysts said the speculation followed the dismissal of more than 30 army officials for misconduct during last year’s general elections.
