Lagos – A Nigerian scholar has solved the Riemann Hypothesis, a 156-year-old mathematical problem which has puzzled mathematicians for years, Vanguard reports.

Dr Opeyemi Enoch, who lectures at the Federal University, Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) presented his solution at the International Conference on Mathematics and Computer Science in Austria.

This is the fourth of the seven Millennium Problems in Mathematics that has been solved. The problem was presented in 1859 by a German mathematician.
