Fayose alleged that the first lady had links to a bribery scandal involving US Congressman Williams Jefferson, with the Governor even going as far as distributing a link to the website of the US Department of Justice.
News24 Nigeria reported that the Presidency challenged Fayose to show proof that Aisha Buhari was indeed involved in the bribery scandal.
The alleged involvement of Aisha Buhari in a fraud scandal was further disproved as information regarding an imposter posing as her came to light, the First Lady of Nigeria's imposter in recent years, has racked up no fewer than six criminal charges in the U.S.
Court documents as well as other physical evidence now irrefutably disproves the First Lady's involvement in any fraud scandals, which she was accused of.
