Lagos – The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer has said "there is nothing irregular" about his client’s recent apology to President Muhammadu Buhari, according to Punch.
Kanu recently offered an open apology to president Buhari after calling him a terrorist, pedophile and saying that he was evil.

The founder of Radio Biafra, Kanu also apologised to former president Goodluck Jonathan and Igbo elders over derogatory comments he made about them in the past.
He is being held over treason and ancillary charges by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Kanu’s lawyer, Vincent Obetta, confirmed that his client tendered the apology in his statement to the DSS on realising that some of the things he said against Buhari and others were uncomplimentary considering the culture and values of the African society, the report said.
