Abuja - A 28-year-old man has been killed by a National Security and Civil Defence Force operative after opening fire on the truck the deceased was in in Akwa Ibom, Punch reported.
The deceased had been delivering supply goods for Dompec Global Resources Limited with a colleague when gun shots were fired to the truck.

The operative had wanted to check the contents of the truck, of which he signaled it to stop. As the driver was pulling over shots were fired which hit the deceased in the head and chest.
This is not the first incident where NSCDC officials opening fire on civilians, as in a earlier incident an NSCDC officials attacked people at a filling station after an uproar started.
