Abuja - Ex-speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Victor Olabintan, has been rescued from his abductors, Punch reports.
Olabintan, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, is alleged to have been abducted gunmen wearing military regalia in the Kwali LGA of the State on Monday.

The unfortunate turn of events came just 2 days after Olabintan declared his intention to run for Ondo State Governor.
PR Officer for the Force, Olabisi Kolawole, confirmed the rescue and revealed that approximately 100 riot police were involved i the operation.
Three suspects have since been arrested in connection with the abduction.
