Lagos - A pastor at the Christ Apostolic Church Onigbogbo,
Atan Ota, Ogun State, Pastor Olusegun Omoniyi, was left critically ill after he
was abducted and tutored by suspected members of the Oodua People’s Congress,
The incident was as a result of the death of Omoniyi’s late
wife due to sickness, a situation that made the family to threaten the pastor’s
Omoniyi, 45, has however been rescued by the Ogun State
Police Command, but has since gone into hiding for fear of death.

Omoniyi and his late wife got married in 1999 and had a set
of twins in 2000, but the children died shortly after their birth. The couple
had since been unable to bear another children which has resulted to pressure
from family members.
