Otudeko, Dangote biggest winners in CEO's forum

Lagos - OBA Otudeko, President of Honeywell Group, has been named CEO of the Year at the Africa CEO Forum in Ivory Coast.

Otudeko expressed the Lagos-based company’s gratitude at receiving the accolade.

“I see this award as a reward for our commitment. Our future is bright and we belong to all,” he said.

Meanwhile, The Dangote Group, a Nigerian firm, has been elected African Company of the Year at the same forum in Abidjan.

Sebastien Kadio-Morokro, CEO of Petro Ivoire, was elected Young CEO of the Year, awarded to a distinguished African leader under 40 years.

“This is beautiful encouragement,” said Kadio-Morokro.

BGFI Bank was elected Bank of the Year while Emerging Capital Partners was elected Private Equity Investor of the Year.

Heineken was elected International Corporation of the Year after achieving the best growth on the continent in recent years.

It has maintained its leadership position in 13 African countries.
