Our victory is near - IPOB declares

22 April 2016, 08:38

Abuja - The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has declared that its victory is fast approaching, despite the efforts of adversaries against its success.

According to Naij, the group has stated that its struggle has gained momentum, garnering support and sympathy beyond initial expectations.

In a statement released by Dr. Clifford Iroanya and Emma Mmezu, both spokespeople for the group, IPOB congratulated its supporters, while commending their tenacity and commitment to the cause.

“Your total commitment to the struggle and your determination and focus as a well-disciplined mass movement has gotten the attention of the world and frightened the enemy stiff.

“As our journey to the promised land progresses beautifully, it is important to always remind ourselves that our progeny will forever remain grateful to us for our many sacrifices today.

“We are almost there. I remain very proud of you all,” the statement read, in part.

The group had previously slammed President Muhammadu Buhari on his utterances against them, saying that if they are not recognized, they too will not recognize Nigeria.
