Abuja - Operatives of the Economic and Financial
Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested a suspect, Johnson Tola, for illegally
operating a polytechnic and issuance of fake certificates.
The Ibadan Zonal Office (Yobe State) of the EFCC, which
arrested the man, said investigations revealed he had been using the
polytechnic as a decoy to extort money from prospective students.

He allegedly refused to report at the EFCC office after he
was granted an administrative bail earlier in the course of investigation.
The suspect is detained at the instance of the court through
a remand warrant.
He would be charge to court as soon as investigations are
