Pastor caught defiling 7 year old at church altar

17 May 2016, 07:37

Abuja - Police have arrested an Oyo State pastor after he was caught defiling  7-year-old girl in his church, Naij has reported.

Pastor Isaiah Ojo, general overseer of the Day Spring Family Chapel in Ibadan, is alleged to have taken his fellow pastor's daughter, Bidemi, and laid her down at the altar before raping her.

The incident, which reportedly happened on May 9, was reported to officials in the days that followed.

The girl is said to have been injured badly as a result of forced penetration and she has reportedly been bleeding ever since the incident took place.

The suspect has since made a confession in relation to the crime, admitting that although he did molest the child, his penis could not enter her, the Nigerian Tribune reports.

“My intention was to touch her, not to damage her. When I saw that her vagina was very tight, I withdrew my penis and left. “There was no blood at that time. I don’t know how blood came out of her,” the pastor stated.

The pastor has since denied having sex with the child for ritual reasons, claiming that she was young enough to be his granddaughter.
