15 September 2016, 16:36

Abuja - Youths under the aegis of the Peoples Democratic Party National Youth Frontier, PDPNYF, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgency reshuffle his cabinet, thus, bringing in technocrats that will help take the nation out of its current economic woes, Vanguard reports.

In a statement issued in Abuja, by its National Coordinator, Usman Okai Austin, the PDPNYF, expressed concern that giving the current economic woes, and what it described as the implication of President Buhari’s slow reaction to the economic issues, “it’s now obvious that the President is helpless and clueless, lacking technocrats and capable hands in his cabinet that will help the nation out of the current economic recession.”

Okai said President Buhari Buhari must immediately dissolve his cabinet because it’s dysfunctional.

The People's Democratic Party earlier asked President Muhammadu Buhari to resign from office and also return the country to the era of former President Goodluck Jonathan according to News24.

The party in a statement, expressed surprise at what it described as the lackadaisical reaction of Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun to the recession, saying it was reflective of her ignorance, lack of patriotism or confirmation by the president that ministers were noise makers.
