Lagos - Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari earlier today said that there was no better time to diversify the country's economy than now, Vanguard reports.
Buhari pledged that his administration were determined to oversee the long overdue restructuring of the Nigerian economy.

He highlighted the the economy is currently too dependent on the oil and gas industry, which accounted for more than 75 percent of the government's revenue.
With the dwindling price of oil, Buhari said that now was the time to carry out a restructuring of the economy to make it less dependent on certain sectors which would make the economy more sustainable.
