PHOTO: Man names his dog after Delta State governor

22 August 2016, 13:36

Asaba - It seems naming of pets after popular political figures is becoming a norm in Nigeria.

Another Nigerian named Opuowei Brisbe has reportedly named his dog after Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa

This is coming less than a week after a man named Joe Fortemose ‎Chinakwe, was arrested by the police for naming his dog after President Muhammadu Buhari.

The naming of the dog after Gov OKowa is also coming just three days after another Nigerian woman named Ada Ogbonna named her dog after the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed.

According to Brisbe, he named his dog after the governor because they both have same set of teeth.

See his post below:

”MY DOG NAME NA ARTHUR OKOWA I name my dog after Delta Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa because dem carry the same teeth. Deltans, make una look my dogs well if e nor resemble Okowa. Chat conversation end”.
