Maiduguri - CNN has released an “exclusive photograph” of the released 21 Chibok girls.
The girls were released to the Nigerian military Thursday morning in Maiduguri.
The photograph shows five persons in full hijab and two people wearing a military camouflage, as well as a man in civilian dress.
The location was not stated, but CNN reports that the girls were on their way to Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, to be debriefed by Governor Kashim Shettima.
In the picture, the girls were carrying bags and what looks like bread.
All the girls were on bathroom slippers.
