Abuja – Nigerian troops have uncovered a Boko Haram underground food storage facility following a raid on the terror group’s hideouts in Biggoro, Warpaya and Aura, North of Kumshe in Bama Local government area.
According to PM news, the raid was carried on Saturday by troops of 7 Division Strike Group Team B and 22 Task Force Brigade.
The operation was meant to stop reported criminal activities by the terror group in the three villages, Colonel Sani Usman, acting Director Army Public Relations was quoted as saying.
"This became necessary as previous efforts were futile. The suspected terrorists kept coming in search for food, water and shelter," Usman was quoted as saying.
