Abuja - The Nigerian Army has revealed how troops from Operation Lafiya Dole ambushed Boko Haram terrorists crossing into the Sambisa Forest from Komala and Musafanari, Naij reports.
Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, Acting Director of Army Public Relations, took to his Facebook page to explain how the attack was carried out in the early hours of the morning, while two Boko Haram members were killed and two soldiers sustained gunshot wounds.
In addition, troops recovered 2 AK-47 rifles, 4 AK-47 rifle magazines fully loaded, 25 litres of petrol, as well as assorted food items. A motorcycle and 2 bicycles were also found in the area.
