Abuja - The Nigerian Army has reported the killing of 16 Boko Haram fighters in Kangarwa, Borno State.
According to Naij, Colonel Sani Usman broke the news on his Facebook page on Monday, while providing the public with an update on Operation Lafiya Dole.
Usman's statement revealed that the insurgents were killed during an operation on Sunday.

One officer and 11 soldiers are said to have been injured during the incident and have since been treated at the unit's medical facility. All are currently in a stable condition.
In addition, troops are believed to have recovered ammunition of various kinds during the operation.
