Abuja - The latest development in an ongoing clean-up operation held by the Nigerian Army has brought about good news, with soldiers having killed several terrorists while recovering a large cache of arms in the Sambisa Forest.
According to a statement released by Colonel Sani Usman, the troops managed to clear four villages on Sunday, with arms and vehicles belonging to the terrorists having been recovered.
In a separate development, soldiers were ambushed by Boko Haram terrorists due to a heavy downpour. The ensuing gun battle resulted in the deaths of 8 terrorists.
