Abuja - Nigerian troops have taken yet another stride in the fight against Boko Haram, with the arrest of a key fuel supplier to the sect having been reported.
According to Naij, military spokesperson Colonel Sani Kukasheka made the announcement on Tuesday, stating that the supplier was arrested with 25 jerry cans of fuel and various other goods at a military checkpoint in Borno State.
"The Quick Reinforcement Force (QRF) of 251 Battalion, 7 Div Gar on routine checks arrested a truck loaded with 25 jerry cans of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and other goods cleverly covered and concealed at Molai check point, outskirts of Maiduguri at about 8.00am today Tuesday," a statement read in part.
