Lagos - The Nigerian Labour Congress and the Civil Society Organisations on Wednesday made good its decision to defy the Federal Government as they poured into the streets to protest the hike in fuel price.
This is despite an order by the National Industrial Court, NIC, which restrained the NLC from the action.
The protests were held across the country.
The protests were generally peaceful except in Lagos State, where area boys tried to hijacked the exercise.
It took the intervention of armed policemen before normalcy was restored.
