Abuja - Scores of protesters took to the streets of Owerri, Imo State, on Wednesday to voice their dissatisfaction over allowances owed to pensioners.
According to a Naij report, desperate veterans claimed that the Rochas Okorocha-led Government owed them money ranging from one to five years in arrears.
The crowd ignored requests to disperse, insisting that they meet with Okorocha and address the issue.
One pensioner, who remains unidentified, slumped during the protest, losing consciousness and lying on the ground.
