Lagos - Lagos State Command confirmed that they arrested two suspected militants who had attempted to attack Igando community with guns and ammunition confiscated, Vanguard reports.
The police were alerted to the impending attack by members of the Igando community saying that the suspects arrived on a boat through the waterways.

Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni immediately deployed his men to the area with the suspects being arrested soon after.
Security has been now beefed up in the area with police warning members of the public to not panic as they are on control of the situation.
