Edo - The post-Unified tertiary Matriculation Examination
has been postponed at the University of Benin in Edo State by management, Punch
The announcement was made by the Minister of Education Adamu
Adamu who instructed tertiary institutions to stop the conduct as he was given
the go ahead by Federal Government.

The examination was scheduled to begin on June 27 and last
for two weeks but it has been cancelled and those who gave money in need to be
given back immediately, Adamu said.
The university has stated that it will be communicating with
students on the suspension of the examination and any information regarding to
Vanguard reports that any institution that violates the
directive from the Minister of Education will face the consequences.
