Abuja - Tonight President Muhammadu Buhari will host his maiden Media Chat with the masses. Many have speculated what the direction of his address will be but what is it that ordinary Nigerians would like to hear Buhari speak on?
After posing a question on our Facebook page appealing for the engagement of News24 readers, the responses have been as varied as they are surprising.
While many would like President Buhari to address the issue of power in the country, some responses sought clarity on the issue of privatization within the private sector.
The usual topics of health and security were mentioned but a surprising number of people would like the First Citizen to speak on the Biafra movement and how he plans to meet the needs of Biafrans in general.
Unemployment, corruption and education were also high on the list of subjects to be addressed, with many of our readers reiterating issues of welfare and the non-payment of salaries, specifically to those within the civil service.
While there seems to be a great air of expectation surrounding the President's Media Chat, many Nigerians have exhibited skepticism, with many saying that they expect Buhari to merely pass blame and not fully immerse himself in matters close to the hearts of Nigerians.
